Individualized Professional Counseling

“Sometimes the bravest and most important thing you can do is just show up.” Dr. Brene Brown

My office is a judgement free zone. I take a client-centered approach to my work. Every client's needs are different and will influence the work we do together, but I will hold space for reflection, processing and growth. I believe laughter is a powerful medicine and will bring that into sessions when appropriate. I also use strategies in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

I want clients to leave my office with a sense of hope and empowerment. Clients can expect to be allowed space to be their true authentic self and be met empathy, honesty and unconditional positive regard. I love the opportunity to connect with individuals and I am honored to walk alongside those that trust me to do so.

  • I am an out-of-network provider for all insurance panels. If requested, I am able to provide a superbill to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement of services depending upon your plan. I accept HSA cards, cash, check, and all major credit cards. Many therapists choose to work outside of insurance due to the limitations insurance companies often impose on the quality of care a therapist can provide and the requirement to provide a mental health diagnosis at the very first session. I have found that I am able to operate more ethically and therapy is able to progress in a more authentic way outside of insurance.
